Alabama is the defending national champion, a popular pick for preseason No. 1, and, according to ESPN, ready to compete for the next three seasons.

ESPN recently unveiled its “future power rankings” described as how strong a program will be over the next three years. Seven SEC teams make the top 20, with the Crimson Tide leading the way.

  • Alabama (No. 1)
  • LSU (No. 6)
  • Florida (No. 11)
  • Georgia (No. 12)
  • Tennessee (No. 14)
  • Auburn (No. 18)
  • Ole Miss (No. 20)

The list seems to favor what many would traditionally label each division’s Big 3, with Ole Miss being noted for staying power beyond a loaded 2013 class.

One big question, however, could be will two of the above teams’ coaches be around for the next three years. Auburn and LSU could both be in the market for new head coaches after this season according to one CBS Sports analyst.

ESPN Insider members can check out the full list here.

Did any SEC schools get overlooked? How would you rank the futures of the seven teams above?
