ESPN has reportedly settled on new 6 p.m. SportsCenter anchors
With the Michael Smith and Jemele Hill SC6 failed experiment now well behind ESPN, the network has reportedly decided on its next set of anchors for the 6 p.m. ET SportsCenter.
According to sports media insider Richard Deitsch of the Athletic, Sage Steele and Kevin Negandhi will be filling the roles vacated by Smith and Hill’s departures from SportsCenter. The SC6 show officially came to an end in March when Smith left, however, Hill left back in January. Although they were given multi-year deals, the SC6 show with both Smith and Hill did not last a full calendar year, as it was launched in February of 2017.
Steele and Negandhi have been regulars at ESPN for some time, starring in a number of roles including as SportsCenter and studio anchors.
