ESPN’s SP+ formula makes weekly picks for the biggest games in college football. For Week 13, the matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and LSU Tigers was included in the projections.
The formula predicts a close game between the SEC West rivals with the Tigers having a 56% implied win probability. SP+ likes a close game with the Tigers winning 32-29 to end the season with a win.

The spread is LSU -11, so the formula likes the Aggies to cover. The point total is 66.5, so the formula also predicts the game to go under.
Both teams are already bowl-eligible, but both would love to end the regular season with a win and some positive momentum. The Aggies will finish the regular season 8-4 with a win, while the Tigers would finish 9-3 with a win.
This matchup has been back and forth recently, with each team winning every other year since 2017. The Tigers will be looking to get revenge on the Aggies, who surprisingly beat the Tigers by double digits in 2022.
The 2023 matchup will kick off from Baton Rouge at Noon Eastern on Saturday.
