One week into the season it’s clear some of the best quarterback play in the nation comes from the Southeastern Conference.

If you go by ESPN’s QBR metrics, Joe Burrow has been the league’s best quarterback to date as the Tigers’ offensive leader tossed five interceptions in LSU’s 55-3 win over Georgia Southern. Tua Tagovailoa isn’t far behind, as the Alabama signal-caller was nearly perfect in his team’s 42-3 win over Duke.
