ESPN’s College Football Playoff Predictor updates latest contenders entering Week 5

There’s been plenty of movement in the contenders for the College Football Playoff since the start of the season. And according to ESPN’s Playoff Predictor, as well as other college football experts, there are only 2 teams that have set themselves apart from the field.

Clemson’s loss to N.C. State and Ohio State’s loss to Oregon have been the biggest jolts to the Playoff picture, and even though Oklahoma is undefeated, it only has a 53 percent chance of making the playoff, per the Predictor.

One game that could go a long way toward deciding a third team in contention is the Cincinnati-Notre Dame game this week, as well as the Ole Miss-Alabama game if the Rebels pull the upset. Those teams are the only undefeated teams in the top 10.
