ESPN's Football Power Index updates Top 25 after Week 8; 8 SEC teams are ranked
Week 8 is now officially in the books, and this season is absolutely flying by.
Around college football, one major upset happened: Illinois inexplicably took down undefeated Wisconsin. That will certainly shakeup the Big Ten. In the SEC, Vanderbilt also had a shocking upset win over ranked Missouri.
Surprisingly, ESPN’s FPI doesn’t give Florida much respect. The Gators check in at No. 12 in the rankings, while one-loss Auburn, a team that Florida defeated, is ranked No. 8. Four one-loss teams are ranked ahead of the Gators.
Ohio State also jumped Alabama this week for the No. 1 spot in the rankings.
