Last week, Arkansas proved it can hang with one of the best teams in the SEC in LSU, but fell short of the Tigers on a last-second field goal.

Meanwhile for Texas A&M, the Aggies had their way with Auburn and continued to prove themselves as a legitimate team.

That being said, this Saturday’s game between Arkansas and Texas A&M will tell us a lot about both teams. If Arkansas can get a signature win over the Aggies, it could change the trajectory of their season for the positive. If Aggies drop the Razorbacks, they will continue building momentum before getting into some much tougher games down the road.

But if Texas A&M loses, it could show that the Aggies are once again a mediocre team at best.

ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) favors Texas A&M heavily, giving the Aggies a 73% chance to win the game. Texas A&M will have Max Johnson as the starter with Conner Weigman out, and he will have a chance to prove himself with a win. But Arkansas played a close one last week against LSU, so this one could end up going either way.

The game should be an interesting one, and it is set to kick off at noon ET on Saturday from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
