ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) predicts the outcome of each college football game before each weekend. With 9 weeks already behind us, the predictions for Week 10 have now been released.

Included in the Week 10 predictions is the Ole Miss-Arkansas matchup. The model sees Ole Miss as a big favorite, giving the Rebels a 74.1% chance to win conference battle. This means ESPN Analytics is giving the Razorbacks just over a 25% chance to pull off the upset at home.

Entering this game, the Rebels have a 6-2 overall record with a 2-2 mark in SEC play. In conference play, the Rebels have lost to Kentucky and LSU while beating South Carolina and Oklahoma.

The Razorbacks, meanwhile, are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in SEC play. The Razorbacks have conference wins over Tennessee, Auburn, and Mississippi State, with losses to LSU and Texas A&M.

In Week 9, the Rebels took down Oklahoma while the Razorbacks easily dispatched Mississippi State. Now, these teams prepare to do battle for the 70th time in history.

All-time, the Razorbacks have 38 wins, the Rebels have 30, and the teams have tied once. Ole Miss won last year’s game 27-20 in Oxford, but the Razorbacks haven’t lost this matchup in Fayetteville since 2018.

Entering the season, the Rebels had College Football Playoff hopes. However, with 2 losses already, a loss at Arkansas in Week 10 kills those hopes, if they’re not dead already. The Razorbacks, meanwhile, would secure bowl eligibility with a win.

After Week 10, the Rebels still have a tough game with Georgia, while the Razorbacks still play Texas and Missouri.
