There were plenty of shakeups across the SEC on Saturday, and the latest ESPN Football Power Index reflected those outcomes.

While Alabama remained at No. 1, Georgia slipped one spot to No. 6 and Auburn moved up three spots to No. 5.

Interestingly enough, the top five includes Ohio State at No. 2, Penn State at No. 3 and Clemson at No. 4.

Auburn remains a key team in determining not only the SEC West representative in Atlanta, but also the College Football Playoff rankings. The Tigers still have a chance to play their way in with a win over Alabama, and a rematch win over Georgia in December.

A fairly sizable gap remains from the top tier teams in the SEC, and the rest, as LSU with a win and Mississippi State with a narrow loss each remain in the top 20.

Here is where all the SEC teams rank this week by the FPI:

  • Alabama – No. 1
  • Auburn – No. 5
  • Georgia – No. 7
  • Mississippi State – No. 16
  • LSU – No. 19
  • South Carolina – No. 32
  • Texas A&M – No. 37
  • Missouri – No. 42
  • Florida – No. 47
  • Kentucky – No. 53
  • Ole Miss – No. 57
  • Tennessee – No. 66
  • Arkansas – No. 72
  • Vanderbilt – No. 78
