ESPN’s Rece Davis weighs in on the dangers of a spring football season
By Adam Spencer
Published:
The Big Ten and Pac-12 have reportedly canceled their fall football seasons and will attempt to play in the spring.
That is presumably to give the COVID-19 pandemic a chance to settle down a bit in this country, but there are other risks with playing in the spring.
As you can see below, ESPN college football broadcaster Rece Davis joined NFL Live on Tuesday to discuss the news of the medical information that lead the Big Ten and Pac-12 to cancel:
Unless someone proves otherwise, playing football in spring followed by another season in fall of 2021 is irresponsible for health reasons beyond Covid. pic.twitter.com/4HD4HdcpQD

In the tweet, Davis says there are bigger risks for playing a spring season followed by a fall season that go beyond COVID-19.
Will the Big Ten and Pac-12 discuss the medical reports they received? We’ll find out soon, hopefully.
