ESPN has released this week’s SP+ picks, and there’s a strong slate of games, including several games pitting conference foes.

A couple games that stand out are divisional battles between Florida and Tennessee, and Texas A&M and Arkansas, which will go a long way toward determining the best team to challenge Georgia and Alabama.

Many of the other games are expected to be lopsided affairs.

One game that could be interesting because of the quarterback situations for both teams is Auburn and Missouri as Bryan Harsin’s seat continues to get hotter, and Eli Drinkwitz faces questions about QB development.

  • Tennessee 38, Florida 25
  • Texas A&M 27, Arkansas 23

ESPN’s Bill Connelly releases the SP+ predictions based on a computer model as “opponent- and tempo-adjusted look at the most sustainable and predictive aspects of college football. It is intended to be predictive and forward-facing.”
