ESPN’s updated post-Week 3 FPI rankings have 8 SEC teams in the top 25

Even with no ranked matchups, Week 3 provided plenty of drama and lots of upsets throughout the college football world.
While the top teams took care of business, there were some close games and some upsets lower in the rankings.
After Saturday’s action, ESPN updated its Football Power Index rankings, and 8 SEC teams crack the top 25. Here’s who made the cut in this week’s FPI top 25:
- No. 1 — Alabama
- No. 3 — Georgia
- No. 4 — LSU
- No. 9 — Auburn
- No. 11 — Florida
- No. 13 — Texas A&M
- No. 20 — Mizzou
- No. 24 — Mississippi State
South Carolina just missed the top 25, checking in at No. 26 in the updated rankings.
