Every SEC team’s 2024 recruiting ranking after the Early Signing Period

For many years, college football recruitments went into the new year. While National Signing Day is still held every February, the majority of Power 5 prospects now make their final decisions during December’s Early Signing Period.
Prospects in the 2024 recruiting class were eligible to sign Wednesday-Friday of this past week. While there are still players waiting to decide in January or February, many programs are done recruiting high schoolers for 2024 and have shifted focus to the transfer portal and 2025.
With the dust settled on the Early Signing Period, all 16 programs playing in the SEC next season finished in the top 40 overall on the 247Sports Composite rankings. Georgia has once again signed the top class.
The Bulldogs saw 5-star QB Dylan Raiola make a last-minute flip to Nebraska, but that did not stop UGA from signing the No. 1 overall non-transfer class by a wide margin. Alabama and Texas are right behind to make an all-SEC top 3.
Here’s where all 16 teams stand in the Composite rankings of high school and JUCO signings:
- No. 1 overall Georgia (315.22 points)
- No. 2 Alabama (300.75)
- No. 3 Texas (291.29)
- No. 7 Auburn (278.87)
- No. 8 Oklahoma (276.39)
- No. 11 LSU (271.35)
- No. 13 Tennessee (265.87)
- No. 16 Florida (258.37)
- No. 17 Texas A&M (252.01)
- No. 20 South Carolina (242.84)
- No. 21 Ole Miss (242.56)
- No. 24 Missouri (230.74)
- No. 25 Kentucky (228.77)
- No. 28 Arkansas (221.46)
- No. 33 Mississippi State (213.97)
