In the first quarter of Saturday’s Cocktail Party between Georgia and Florida, Georgia freshman WR Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint suffered a gruesome leg injury.

He made a catch and got into the end zone, but as he was being tackled, his foot ended up pointing in the wrong direction and a cart was quickly brought out for him.

CBS is taking some heat for how they handled the injury. Even after announcer Brad Nessler said they probably shouldn’t show the play anymore, the crew showed it a few more times.

Fans and media thought it was a bit unnecessary to show the devastating injury that all but certainly ended Rosemy-Jacksaint’s season so many times:

An apology could be coming from the network after all this backlash.
