Nick Saban got fired up in the fourth quarter of Friday’s Playoff semifinal against Notre Dame.

Up 31-7 with just over 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Saban went off on the official following a Patrick Surtain interception in which he was out of bounds. The camera caught Saban lighting up the official on the field, and the official on the sideline threw the flag.

We’re not sure we’ve ever heard and official call an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on “the Alabama head coach” or any head coach, but that’s what happened.

Check this out:

The penalty gave Notre Dame additional yards, and the Irish eventually scored a touchdown to cut the Alabama lead to 31-14.
