The Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame has announced that 2 players from each team will be new inductees into the hall of fame this year. The soon-to-be new members are Ciatrick Fason and Keiwan Ratliff from Florida, and Thomas Davis and Jon Stinchcomb, from Georgia.
The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 29th in the East Club at TIAA Bank Field.
Fason was a first-team All-SEC running back for the Gators in 2004 who averaged 105.4 yards a game. He also led the SEC in rushing that season. Ratliff was a defensive back with the Gators from 2000-2003. He was named first-team All-SEC, an All-American, and SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
Davis played with the Bulldogs from 2002-2004 where he accumulated 272 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and 3 interceptions. He was also a unanimous first-team All-SEC selection in 2003 and 2004. He was also named a first-team All-American in 2004. As a freshman with Georgia, Stinchcomb became an All-American and led the Bulldogs to their first SEC Championship in 20 years back in 2002. As a senior, he was also named an All-American.
The Georgia-Florida game will be played on Oct. 30 at 3:30 pm on CBS.
