Former NFL exec Gil Brandt has 4 SEC WRs among his top 10 receivers in the draft class
When the 2020 NFL Draft begins later this month, a number of SEC receivers will hear their names called, including potentially 3 in the first round.
This is a deep receiver class, but even in that loaded group, the SEC stars stand out as the cream of the crop.
As you can see below, former NFL executive Gil Brandt ranked his top 10 receivers on Twitter on Tuesday, including 4 SEC standouts — Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III, Justin Jefferson and Lynn Bowden Jr.:
20 percent of my top 50 players are WRs. My top 10 (overall rank):
1. CeeDee Lamb (11)
2. Jerry Jeudy (12)
3. Henry Ruggs (16)
4. Brandon Aiyuk (30)
5. Justin Jefferson (31)
6. Jalen Reagor (42)
7. Lynn Bowden (44)
8. Tee Higgins (45)
9. Michael Pittman (46)
10. Denzel Mims (49)— Gil Brandt (@Gil_Brandt) April 14, 2020
Another SEC receiver to watch is Tennessee’s Jauan Jennings, who could go on Day 2 of the draft.
How early will the guys above hear their names called? We only have to wait another week and a half to find out.
