The 2020 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and talk is heating up about the number of SEC prospects who could go in Round 1 of the event in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, former NFL GM Charley Casserly released his first 2020 NFL Mock Draft, and he included 15 SEC stars in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, he thinks 7 Alabama players and 4 LSU players will hear their names called in Round 1:

  • No. 1 — Joe Burrow, QB, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 5 — Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 7 — Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 8 — Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 10 — Jedrick Wills Jr., OL, Alabama — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 11 — Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia — New York Jets
  • No. 12 — Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 15 — Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama — Denver Broncos
  • No. 17 — Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 18 — CJ Henderson, CB, Florida — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 19 — Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 20 — Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 21 — Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 23 — K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU — New England Patriots
