Vincent Jackson was a talented wide receiver in the pro ranks, spending 12 seasons in the NFL — 7 with the San Diego Chargers and 5 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sadly, he was found dead in a hotel room in Brandon, Florida, on Monday morning. He was 38 years old.

Per the report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson was reported missing on Feb. 11 by his family. He was discovered in his hotel room by the housekeeper. Per the report, there was no sign of trauma:

Jackson had 6 seasons in which he had at least 1,000 receiving yards. He finished his career with 57 touchdowns.

He also made 3 Pro Bowls. Jackson went to college at Northern Colorado.
