For a six month period in 2015, four-star QB Bailey Hockman was committed to play for Georgia.

But the Powder Springs, Ga. product decided to decommit from the Bulldogs back in December following the departure of former coach Mark Richt.

The presence of 2016 five-star signee Jacob Eason may have also contributed to that decision.

On Sunday, he posted a note to Twitter announcing that he has made a decision on his new school:

Hockman is the No. 7 pro style quarterback in the 2017 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

He visited Alabama on Friday and had offers from Tennessee, Auburn and South Carolina, among others.

Ultimately, last month’s visit to Florida State must have shown him that his future was in Tallahassee with Jimbo Fisher.
