The future of the SEC looks just as bright as the present.

Four of this week’s Pro Football Focus top 10 true freshmen hailed from the SEC, the most from any conference.

Offensive tackle Jonah Williams and quarterback Jalen Hurts made Alabama the only school in the nation with two players on the list, and they were joined by Kentucky running back Benny Snell Jr. and South Carolina quarterback Jake Bentley.

Snell, who leads SEC running backs with 10 touchdowns to go along with 775 yards, was the highest-ranked conference player at No. 3. Williams and Hurts, meanwhile, are key cogs in No. 1 Alabama’s top-15 scoring offense.

Bentley has completed 73 percent of his passes for 622 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions, earning him the eighth spot on the list despite playing in just three games this year.
