FOX analyst Joel Klatt rips CFP selection committee, shares his field of 4
The College Football Playoff rankings system has its share of critics. FOX Sports analyst Joel Klatt is one of the more vocal critics.
Klatt took to Twitter after Tuesday’s selection committee rankings reveal, offering strong criticism. Klatt sarcastically offered that Oklahoma, ranked No. 8 despite a 9-0 record, will be ranked higher when it joins the SEC (even with a loss, like No. 2 Alabama) and shared his hope that an expanded playoff will address issues with the current system.
I don’t know what @OU_Football fans are so upset about…in a few years when they’re in the #SEC then they don’t even have to win all their games and will be ranked #2 #Patience @CFBPlayoff

For the record I am in favor of any measure that would dilute or strip power from this ridiculous 13 person committee…The structure of @CFBPlayoff has done more harm to our great sport than good…My hope is that expansion will fix some of the issues…I won’t hold my breath

Prior to the reveal, Klatt tweeted his field of 4, clarifying that they are his 4 most “deserving” teams and “different from rankings”:
If I were a committee of one & created playoff today here is what it would look like…Full disclosure, I believe that CFB Playoff should be 4 most DESERVING, thus this is different than rankings
