It’s still September, but already we’re beginning to get a picture of how the first few picks of 2017 NFL Draft might play out with several top players making an early name for themselves.

Fox Sports published a mock draft on Tuesday and made it pretty clear that the SEC has some of the top next-level talent this season. With seven months until the draft, Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett continues to make a push as the consensus No. 1 prospect, with Alabama defensive tackle Jonathan Allen not far behind.

Altogether, there are 14 players from the SEC (six from Alabama, of course) that make an appearance in this particular first-round mock, which would be a rather strong start for a conference that has had the most overall players taken for a decade straight.
