FOX Sports Big Noon Kickoff team predicts College Football Playoff

There’s not much of an argument that Alabama and Georgia are the two top teams in the nation. Next, however, things get interesting.
The Crimson Tide is ranked No. 1 followed immediately by the Bulldogs at No. 2. With a handful of upsets in the first month of the season, the next two positions are up for debate. Iowa and Penn State are currently ranked third and fourth, respectively, in the Associated Press Poll. The College Football Playoff Poll will be released on Nov. 2.
Former Southern California star Reggie Bush said he believes that Iowa and Penn State are the third and fourth most deserving teams – for now. The two teams play each other at Iowa at 4 p.m. EST today. Former Trojan quarterback Matt Leinart questioned whether or not Cincinnati would be given an opportunity to enter the four-team play off if it wins out since it is not a Power Five school. No team has made the College Football Playoff that wasn’t a Power Five School.
Former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said he believes that the Sooners would jump ahead of Cincinnati if both teams win out. Oklahoma is 5-0 and ranked sixth in the AP Poll, just behind the Bearcats.
