FWAA releases Super 16 rankings after Week 6 of college football action
Since Georgia and South Carolina (and several other college football teams) had their games delayed until Sunday because of Hurricane Matthew, it’s unlikely that either the AP or Coaches polls will be released until Monday.
However, the Football Writers Association of America released its weekly Super 16 rankings.
This week’s rankings include four SEC teams in the top 16 and five others receiving votes:

3. Clemson (6-0)
4. Michigan (6-0)
5. Washington (6-0)
6. Texas A&M (6-0)
7. Louisville (4-1)
8. Wisconsin (4-1)
9. Tennessee (5-1)
10. Nebraska (5-0)
11. Baylor (5-0)
12. Houston (5-1)
13. Ole Miss (3-2)
14. Boise State (5-0)
15. Virginia Tech (4-1)
16. Miami (Fla.) (4-1)
OTHERS RECEIVING VOTES: Florida (59), Florida State (59), West Virginia (33), Oklahoma (29), Utah (27), Stanford (20), Arkansas (16), Navy (14), Auburn (9), LSU (9), Western Michigan (7), Georgia (3), Arizona State (2), North Carolina (2)
Florida and LSU’s game in Gainesville was canceled, with no makeup date scheduled at the moment.
