Georgia and Texas are preparing to battle for the 2nd time this season. This time, however, the stakes are much higher with the winner being crowned SEC champion in Atlanta.

Ahead of the matchup, the Georgia Aquarium provided a sea lion named Jupiter to predict the winner for the ESPN cameras. Both helmets were placed on a table and Jupiter quickly jumped on the table and made his decision.

The sea lion did not appear to like the Georgia helmet, knocking it off the table and leaving the Texas helmet in place.

“Jupiter says Hook ‘Em wins the SEC Championship, you heard it here first,” said ESPN’s Marty Smith.

Jupiter may have to find a new aquarium after going against UGA in the heart of Bulldog country.

The Dawgs came out victorious in the first matchup between these teams in October. The Bulldog defense forced 4 turnovers and collected 7 sacks in that game, winning by a final score of 30-15.

That game is the lone blemish on the Longhorn’s resume. Since the loss to the Bulldogs, the Longhorns have 5 wins in a row and will enter the SEC Championship Game with an 11-1 record.

The Bulldogs, meanwhile, picked up their 2nd loss of the season shortly after the win over Texas. The Bulldogs have losses to Alabama and Ole Miss but ended the regular season on a 3-game win streak.

This much anticipated SEC Championship Game will kick off from Atlanta at 4 p.m. ET.
