Greg McElroy makes predictions for all the big college football games weekly on his Always College Football podcast, and this week is no different.

There are some big games in the SEC this weekend, with the biggest game being No.5 Georgia at No. 1 Texas. The former Alabama quarterback made his pick in this game, and he is going with the upset.

“I have a really strange feeling about this game,” McElroy said. “I am going to be honest with you. I think it is going to be high-scoring. I think both offenses are going to be able to move the football. I think Georgia for whatever reason is going to play its best football game.

“If Georgia loses this game, it is far from a foregone conclusion that it is going to the College Football Playoff. I think Georgia goes to Austin and pulls the upset. I do think Georgia has been battle-tested, and I think Georgia finds a way to go in and shock the No. 1 Texas Longhorns.”

The Bulldogs still have games at Ole Miss and Tennessee at home, so the schedule is still very difficult.

Georgia is a 5-point underdog, but is 6-2 in their last 8 games ATS as the underdog with 4 outright wins.

Kickoff for this game is scheduled 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be on ABC.
