Greg Olsen, Kevin Burkhardt draw praise from fans as Super Bowl announcers
Greg Olsen is in the box with Kevin Burkhardt calling Super Bowl 57 between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
And both are doing a great job, objectively. Olsen is explaining the game well and adding the unique perspective that he has all season. To put it simply, he looks and sounds like he belongs in the booth.
And some people realize Olsen’s time in the FOX booth may be fleeting. Tom Brady is set to enter the booth soon and some are going to hate to see Olsen go. Others, admittedly, don’t see the magic, though they seem to be in the minority.
The former NFL tight end with the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers has drawn a lot of praise from social media for his insight into the game Sunday night
Loving Greg Olsen on the call

The Nick Sirianni/Dan Campbell aggressive 4th down calls are a game changer
Greg Olsen doing a great job explaining how it opens up your 3rd down playbook

Me when Greg Olsen pointing out the reasoning and benefits of Sirianni’s aggressiveness on 4th downs.
Greg Olsen deserves to keep this #1 announcer team spot. pic.twitter.com/qVbnWsKcGR

Greg Olsen has been the 2nd biggest star of the game after Hurts imo https://t.co/7iK1UDfV1M

Greg Olsen is in a tough spot because he’s going to get benched for someone who cannot possibly be as good as he is
— Alex Kirshner (@alex_kirshner) February 13, 2023
Greg Olsen is very good at this. Tom Brady will absolutely suck at this. Pretty easy decision for Fox

As always Greg Olsen has been fantastic tonight. #SuperBowl

Super refreshing to have an announcer understand fourth-down decisions. Bless you, Greg Olsen.

Seriously, @thepressboxpod, what is FOX going to do with Greg Olsen. He deserves this job.

And hey, while we’re at it, let’s augh at Kevin Burkhardt giving the camera the side eye as it went over his head.
Fans have been positive about Burkhardt’s calls Sunday evening as well.
Kevin Burkhardt was definitely not 100% sure that camera was gonna clear his head. ? pic.twitter.com/G6ef8VPage

Greg Olsen is getting so much pub that Kevin Burkhardt has flown under the radar a little. He’s been excellent so far and that call of the fumble TD was outstanding.

Side note from basketball, but Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen are a massive improvement in the broadcast booth from Nantz & Romo. Not even comparable.
