Heather Dinich has released her latest College Football Playoff top 4 ranking ahead of the first official rankings release show on Tuesday.

She did it and discussed the contending teams during an appearance on Get Up on ESPN with Mike Greenberg, David Pollack and Paul Finebaum. Dinich said her top 4 are Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State and Cincinnati.

Alabama since the loss to Texas A&M has outscored opponents 101-33, and she understands that the Buckeyes lost to Oregon, but the Buckeyes are No. 1 in the FBS in scoring offense and total offense. And while Cincinnati struggled against Navy, Dinich recalled that coach Luke Fickell said the Bearcats hadn’t been tested yet, and they passed that test.

“Guys at this point, eye test has to matter,” she said. “And I don’t think that anybody I have ranked behind Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State, if they played today, would beat those teams.”

Finebaum said he agreed with Dinich about Cincinnati, but he was underwhelmed by the Bearcats on Saturday.

“They played horribly, they put themselves in harm’s way and they better not do that anymore, because the eye test is going to start mattering with this committee, Greeny,” he said.

Pollack questioned whether the committee would reward a team without a loss, because he said Ohio State looked back and lost to Oregon, while Oklahoma played bad, but still beat Kansas last week.

“This is the fascinating part, a new committee, what do you value,” he said.
