Some people just get all the talent. That’s the case with Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray, who was a first-round pick in the 2018 MLB Draft and then went on to win the Heisman Trophy for the Sooners.
Now, he has a difficult decision to make — does he stick with baseball and join the Oakland A’s minor league system or try his hand at football?
On Monday, the deadline for declaring for the draft, Murray announced that he was indeed entering his name into consideration for the NFL:
I have declared for the NFL Draft.

Of course, this doesn’t lock him in to football, and it’s a good bet the A’s will continue to try everything to get him to stick with baseball.
However, he now has options, and it’ll be interesting to see which way he ends up going for his professional career.
