Horrendous: Punter botches snap, shanks punt, results in TD return for 0 yards
This is almost unbelievable.
The Citadel had an all-time blooper lowlight Saturday night against South Florida.
Trailing 7-6, the Bulldogs lined up to punt from about the 10-yard-line facing 4th and 15, and Matt Campbell, the punter, botched the snap from the long-snapper. Campbell then tried to get the ball away in his own end zone, and he shanked the punt. South Florida caught the punt in the end zone for a touchdown.
It was officially scored as a punt for a loss of 10 yards and a touchdown return for 0 yards.
Some things you just have to see to believe.

It’s early in the college football season, but we might not see another wild play like this.
