Despite the betting odds favoring Les Miles, and reports of Lane Kiffin’s potential buyout causing issues in Houston, one UH beat writer still believes that the Alabama offensive coordinator could have the Cougars head coaching job by the end of the week.

Tim Brando, who tweeted about the buyout issue, believes the LSU offensive coordinator position is still in play for Kiffin. The folks in Baton Rouge are no doubt pulling for Miles to become Houston’s new head coach so that Kiffin can reunite with Ed Orgeron at LSU.

The whole SEC is watching where Miles and Kiffin land on the coaching carousel.
