Part of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s job is to make predictions during ESPN’s “College GameDay.” Each week, we’ll keep track of how the former Ohio State quarterback’s SEC prognostication is going for the 2015 season.
This week: 2-1
Season: 20-11
THE PICKS
Herbstreit stayed hot in Week 9, following up last week’s 4-0 mark with a solid 2-1 effort. Only Georgia’s loss to Florida sullied his record this week, and the two wins give him an even 20 on the season.
WIN: Ole Miss over Auburn — Auburn stayed in it all the way, but the Rebels prevailed 27-19.
LOSS: Florida over Georgia — Herbstreit went for the upset pick, but the Gators turned a near pick-em game into a laugher with an easy win.
WIN: Tennessee over Kentucky — Tennessee used a potent offense and outstanding special teams play to bury the Wildcats on Halloween night.
