Part of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s job is to make predictions during ESPN’s “College GameDay.” Each week, we’ll keep track of how the former Ohio State quarterback’s SEC prognostication is going for the 2015 season.
This week: 4-0
Season: 18-10
THE PICKS
Week 8 was the first perfect one for Herbstreit this season. The tricky one was Vanderbilt over Missouri, and Herbstreit’s faith in the Commodores led him to a spotless week. He now stands at eight games over .500 on the year.
WIN: Vanderbilt over Missouri — Herbstreit correctly tabbed the Commodores to knock off Mizzou.
WIN: Alabama over Tennessee — The Crimson Tide fought off Tennessee in a closer-than-expected contest.
WIN: Ole Miss over Texas A&M — The Rebels shut down the Aggies for a 23-3 win.
WIN: LSU over Western Kentucky — Not exactly crawling out on a limb with this one, but Herbstreit capped off his 4-0 week with a Tigers victory.
