Alabama and LSU are known as football programs that prepare and send players to the NFL on an annual basis.
So it should come to no surprise that both teams have a staggering number of former five- and four-star prospects. According to 247Sports, the game will feature 22 former five-star prospects, with Alabama accounting for 16 and LSU having six. The Tigers have 60 former four-stars on their roster and the Tide boast 54.
Altogether, that’s a total of 126 players who were rated as four- or five-star recruits coming out of high school. Insane.
