Hype for Vince McMahon's new football league is spreading before official announcement is even made
Based on the immediate reactions, Vince McMahon’s new, unnamed football league (the XFL? the XFL 2?) will have an audience from the get-go.
How popular it remains after it hits is anyone’s best guess, the first XFL fell flat soon after it was unveiled, but there’s a chance the McMahon and his business partners learned some valuable lessons the first time around.
McMahon is expected to make the official announcement Thursday afternoon regarding what this league is and will be called, however, until that time people will be left guessing just what he’s up to with this new league.
It didn’t take long for the positive reactions to come flying in on Twitter:

Hey @VinceMcMahon, I’d like to become an owner of one of the #XFL teams. I think Indianapolis would love the #XFL… also, gonna need a pretty large loan as well. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/gvtKyG97Yq

gotta say, Nick Saban's legacy won't be complete until he can prove himself to be an elite XFL coach

Fully expecting these QBs on teams in 2020 in the XFL:
Johnny Manziel
Tim Tebow
Kenny Hill
Josh Allenhttps://t.co/O5snq5BPNR— Barrett Sallee (@BarrettSallee) January 25, 2018
If the new XFL owners are smart they will allow players leaving high school to sign with teams. CFB has zero competition. Players could get paid. No fake amateurism for kids that don't want to go to school
