You know an Alabama athlete is elite when both the Crimson Tide and the Tigers have both offered the prospect a scholarship.

That’s the case with Prattville native, Ian Jackson.

The four-star linebacker from Prattville High School not only holds scholarship offers from both Alabama and Auburn but from SEC programs Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M, in addition to many others around the nation.

On Thursday, Jackson offered the latest update on his recruitment, listing Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M in his current top 10, along with Florida State, Louisville, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-1, 208-pound linebacker is rated as a four-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle, the No. 25 outside linebacker in the nation and Alabama’s No. 10 overall recruit by 247Sports Composite Rankings.
