Former SEC on CBS sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl will join NFL Network’s Good Morning Football as the new host for the morning talk show.

Erdahl confirmed the announcement on Twitter. She worked at CBS Sports for 8 years and will be moving on to the NFL Network. In those 8 years, Erdahl worked as a sideline reporter for the NFL on CBS and the SEC on CBS.

In her Twitter post, Erdahl showed her excitement with the new position:

“This is MAJOR REAL LIFE stuff! Proud. Happy. Excited. Lucky. All of the feels. We’re going to make some TV magic! Thank you for inviting me to have breakfast with you,” Erdahl said on Twitter.

Erdahl will be replacing Kay Adams, who hosted Good Morning Football from 2016 until her departure in May 2022. Adams is headed to Amazon Prime Video. The program had a rotating set of hosts for the past 2 months and they will have a permanent replacement for Adams. Erdahl will begin her hosting duties on Monday, July 25.

NFL Communications made the announcement in a press release (Via NFL Communications):

“Erdahl will make her debut on the show Monday, July 25, joining Peter SchragerKyle Brandt and Will SelvaGood Morning Football airs Monday-Friday at 7:00 AM ET live from New York City,” NFL Communications said in a statement.

She will be working alongside Peter Schrager, Kyle Brandt, and Will Selva, who have been part of the show since it debuted in 2016. In that same statement, it was revealed that Erdahl will continue working with CBS Sports on select assignments.
