In the latest episode of “JC on the SEC,” Saturday Down South senior writer John Crist discusses LSU’s unexpected comeback victory over Auburn.

Just 17 minutes into that game, Auburn was leading 20-0 and looked unstoppable. But LSU finally found a way to manufacture some offense, plus the defense made key stops down the stretch. The Bayou Bengals probably saved their season.

On a much more sour note, Tennessee appears to be in a no-win situation with coach Butch Jones. On the one hand, firing him makes sense because he’s never going to turn this ship around. But on the other, do the Volunteers even have a qualified interim coach on staff? You also have to protect the 2018 recruiting class.

Be sure to watch the video above for JC’s thoughts on those subjects, as well as his “Pick Six” segment that covers several other topics.
