Joe Lunardi is now doing 2 bracketology updates per week as we inch ever closer to the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

In his latest projections on Tuesday, Lunardi listed 7 SEC teams in the field of 68, along with 1 team just on the wrong side of the bubble.

As you can see below, Lunardi has Tennessee and Alabama as No. 2 seeds, with LSU just missing the field as one of the First Four Out:

  • Tennessee — No. 2 seed (South)
  • Alabama — No. 2 seed (East)
  • Arkansas — No. 3 seed (Midwest)
  • Mizzou — No. 6 seed (South)
  • Auburn — No. 7 seed (West)
  • Kentucky — No. 8 seed (South)
  • Mississippi State — No. 9 seed (Midwest)
  • LSU — First Four Out

Conference play continues on Tuesday and Wednesday, so teams will have a chance to move the needle toward higher seeds or the bubble with their results this week. We’ll see how Lunardi’s projections change after the next round of SEC action!
