Joel Klatt drops his updated top 10 college football teams after every weekend of action. After a wild rivalry weekend, Klatt has some major changes in his rankings.

Last weekend, the veteran analyst had Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Washington as his top 4. This weekend, Klatt has Michigan, Georgia, Washington, and Oregon as his top 4.

The Wolverines took the No. 1 spot after defeating the Buckeyes, and the Buckeyes are now down to No. 6. Georgia fell to No. 2 after a tight game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Huskies and Ducks both moved up 1 spot after taking care of business.

The rest of the top 10 is rounded out by Texas, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State, Penn State, and Ole Miss. Last weekend, Klatt has the Louisville Cardinals in the top 10 instead of Ole Miss, but the Cardinals fell to the in-state rival Kentucky Wildcats.

With conference championship week approaching, the rankings will work themselves out. For example, the Huskies and Ducks will battle once again, with the loser likely out of CFP contention. The Crimson Tide could earn a spot by defeating the Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game.

It will be interesting to see what Klatt’s rankings look like after next weekend.
