Joel Klatt of FOX Sports provided an update to his top 10 rankings following Week 10’s action, and it featured a pair of Big Ten teams at the top followed by two SEC squads.

Klatt kept Oregon in his top spot but moved Ohio State up to No. 2 following the Buckeyes’ 20-13 win over Penn State on Saturday. He dropped the Nittany Lions to No. 8 following the loss.

Georgia and Texas followed the pair of Big Ten teams, with the Bulldogs staving off a scrappy Florida team over the weekend while the Longhorns were idle.

A pair of undefeated teams in Miami and Indiana, who each faced challenging moments in 20+ point wins over Duke and Michigan State respectively, landed at Klatt’s No. 5 and No. 6 spots.

Tennessee (7) and Alabama (9) round out the SEC representation in Klatt’s power ranking, as he slides undefeated BYU into the 10th spot as well.

Klatt noted that Notre Dame and Boise State were on the outside looking in at this juncture. Those two squads would make the playoff in this scenario given the fact that the top four is made up to just two leagues.
