Joel Klatt is out with his latest rankings, and the FOX Sports analyst has adjusted accordingly given the developments of Rivalry Week.
Klatt kept Georgia No. 1, and then bumped Michigan up one spot from last week to No. 2, dropped Ohio State from No. 2 to No. 5, and lifted TCU up one spot to No. 3 and Southern Cal up one spot to No. 4.
Klatt last week criticized the College Football Playoff committee for ranking LSU over USC, but given the results on the field during Rivalry Week, those rankings likely took care of themselves. Alabama and Penn State rounded out his top 7.
Barring upsets this week in the conference championship games, it appears the top 4 teams are playing for seeding this week with the Playoff rankings show to determine bowl matchups will be Dec. 4.
