Johni Broome, elite Morehead State transfer, reportedly receiving interest from 6 SEC programs
Johni Broome, a 6-10 forward from Morehead State, entered the transfer portal on Monday and will be one of the most sought-after transfers of this cycle.
In fact, he’s already heard from several top teams from around the country, as his skill set will be coveted by teams looking to compete for a title in 2022-23.
As you can see below, Travis Branham of 247Sports reports that 6 SEC teams — Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and LSU — have reached out to Broome already:

Cincinnati, Gonzaga, Indiana, NC State, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Texas and West Virginia have also reached out to Broome, who will seemingly have his choice of top schools this offseason.
In 2021-22, Broome appeared in 34 games, starting all of them. He averaged 16.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.9 blocks and 1.2 assists per contest.
