Jordan Ross is an elite prospect for the 2024 recruiting class and a key target for multiple SEC programs. On Wednesday, he updated his recruitment with a top 8 list moving forward.

Ross included Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and SEC-bound Texas in his list. Oregon and USC on the west coast rounded out Ross’ group.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds out of Vestavia Hills High School, Ross is rated a 4-star recruit and the No. 4 player out of Alabama for the 2024 recruiting class per the 247 Sports Composite. The system also rates Ross as the 39th overall prospect and the No. 5 Edge prospect nationally per the cycle.

Prior to cutting down his list, Ross had generated nearly two dozen offers. Per his 247 Sports page, Ross has a trio of official visits lined up over the summer: June 9 (Georgia), June 16 (Texas) and June 23 (Tennessee).

We’ll see how his recruitment shapes up moving forward, but there’s no denying any program would love to add a commitment from Ross to the 2024 recruiting class. Here’s a glimpse at what he can do via his Hudl highlights:
