Jumping on the Lane Train? Mississippi lineman, Ole Miss target, decommits from Mississippi State

A Mississippi lineman looks like he could be switching his Egg Bowl allegiance.

On Sunday night, Byhalia offensive lineman Makylan Pounders announced his decommitment from Mississippi State on Twitter.

Following the announcement, multiple 247Sports analysts put in Crystal Ball predictions for Pounders to sign with Ole Miss. Listed at 6-5, 295 pounds, Pounders is rated 3-stars, the No.15 recruit in Mississippi, No. 52 offensive guard and No. 1,030 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite.

Pounders had committed to Mississippi State on April 29. He has 10 scholarship offers. Pounders’ senior highlights can be viewed below:
