Kamarion Franklin, 4-star DL out of Mississippi, puts 3 SEC programs in top 5
Kamarion Franklin is still considering a trio of SEC programs.
The 4-star defensive lineman released his top 5 teams on Friday afternoon. Auburn, Ole Miss and Tennessee all made the cut out of the SEC. He’s also still considering Florida State and Miami.

Franklin is one of the top prospects in the country regardless of position. He’s the No. 39 overall player and the No. 7 defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Mississippi.
He attends Lake Cormorant High School in Lake Cormorant, Miss. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 265 pounds.
Franklin is set to visit Tennessee later this month. He’s also previously taken unofficial visits to all 3 of his SEC finalists.
All 3 of those SEC programs are off to solid starts in the class of 2024. However, Tennessee currently has the best class of the group. The Vols have the No. 8 class in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
