The Kansas Jayhawks suffered one of the most-embarrassing losses of any Power 5 program in Week 1, falling to FCS Nicholls in overtime at home, 26-23.

The Jayhawks are now 3-34 over the past three years (and one game) under coach David Beaty, and it’s clear fans are fed up with the ineptitude on the gridiron.

As you can see below, new Kansas AD Jeff Long issued a statement on Tuesday asking Jayhawk fans to continue supporting the team:

Games at Central Michigan this weekend and home against Rutgers in two weeks may be the Jayhawks’ best remaining chances for a 2018 victory.

Could they really go winless, like they did back in 2015? Long better hope not, and Beaty probably can’t withstand another winless season, either.
