SEC fans celebrate Kentucky’s one-and-done SEC Tournament appearance

Kentucky is headed home early.

John Calipari’s latest team couldn’t manage to win a single game in the 2021 SEC Tournament, losing to Mississippi State 74-73 on Thursday.

This loss was historic for a number of reasons, among them, this marks the first time Kentucky has failed to reach the quarterfinals in SEC Tournament history.

Believe it or not, Thursday’s win was Mississippi State’s first victory over a John Calipari-coached Kentucky team.

Now the Bulldogs will advance to the next round of the tourney to face Alabama on Friday.
