Kirk Herbstreit donates nearly $4K to replace equipment stolen from Indiana Little League
ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit is one of the biggest voices of college football on the Worldwide Leader.
He’s also a big fan of youth sports, apparently, and is willing to help when a league hits hard times.
As you can see below, coach Kyle Cox of the Ben Davis Little League in Indiana tweeted out a link to a GoFundMe page after the league had thousands of dollars worth of equipment stolen:
Our little league was robbed of thousands of dollars worth of equipment last night. Please help me as I try to raise $5,000 to replace all the stolen equipment. This place serves hundreds of kids in our community each year and I’d appreciate any/all help.https://t.co/GlP5IlikpG

After seeing a retweet of the link, Herbstreit answered the call to action and donated $3,730 to bring the fundraiser to its $5,000 goal:

That was a classy gesture from Herbstreit, who has now ensured the league has the equipment necessary to play again.
